Blessing of the Animals

On Sunday, October 6, St. Anthony Shrine's annual Blessing of the Animals returns to Downtown. Taking place on Summer Street Plaza, this year's edition invites pet owners to bring any well-behaved, leashed/crated pets to receive a special blessing, along with a blessed medal for protection. St. Anthony Shrine is holding this event in collaboration with the Boston Police Department's Faith & Blue initiative.
