Pink Triangle Legacies: Holocaust History & the Fight for LGBTQ+ Rights

June 17, 2025
7:00 am - 8:30 pm

In honor of Pride Month, Holocaust Museum Boston
and Boston LGBTQ+ Museum invite you to a special virtual
event with historian Dr. Jake Newsome, as he explores the
powerful journey of the pink triangle—from a Nazi
concentration camp badge to a global symbol of LGBTQ+
liberation, pride, and community.
Drawing from rare archival sources and original interviews,
Dr. Newsome illuminates the experiences of LGBTQ+ Holocaust
victims and traces how queer communities reclaimed the pink
triangle in the post-Holocaust world, transforming it into a
lasting emblem of resilience and resistance.
Don’t miss this inspiring and eye-opening conversation at the
intersection of memory, identity, and justice.
Free and open to all. Registration required.
