What People Are Saying About
Downtown Boston BID Ambassadors
Each year, the BID receives hundreds of thank-you notes from customers who have received help from BID Ambassadors.
From tourists to office workers, residents to retailers, students to government employees, BID Ambassadors offer services to the entire downtown community. They give directions, return lost possessions, offer a late-night escort--they have even fixed flat tires and recharged dead batteries!
Through 2022, the BID has received thousands of thank-you letters. Some recent comments:
"Was visiting Boston for the first time in October and was looking to get to the right train station area. A gal noticed my confusion and was so helpful to show me where I needed to go. Want to thank your Ambassador for her friendly helpfulness!!"
"I'm writing to compliment one of your Ambassadors on his friendliness and conscientiousness in sweeping our sidewalks. As a Downtown resident, I see Ambassadors frequently and always say hello; this one stood out as someone instantly ready to help if I needed anything. Thanks for such a great program staffed with great people!"
"As a first timer to Boston, I want to thank you for your ambassadors with their knowledge and for their maps. Cornelio was amazing and put us on the right path for everything that we wanted to do. I especially appreciated that he suggested the African American national historical Park and walking tour. That was not on our radar and I was really glad that he suggested it. It was a great part of Bostonian history we had not thought to explore but was interesting and informative. Thank you!!"
"We had the pleasure of visiting lovely Boston and had to ask for directions from one of your ambassadors named Rhonita. She was so pleasant and helpful and I wanted to tell you. It was so nice to have a cheerful and knowledgeable person able to help us."
"I would like to thank Karen. I dropped my wallet today somewhere in Downtown. She brought my wallet to Santander Bank, and I received a call to pick it up. Thanks!"
