James Piombino joined the BID in January of 2020 after previously serving as an intern since June of 2019. In his role, James manages the organization’s online presence, primarily through the BID’s website and social media channels. He is also responsible for the coordination and execution of the weekly BID newsletter in which news and stories within Downtown Boston are shared with our audience.
In James’ previous experience, he has led multiple rebranding efforts and conducted analysis projects at a market research firm. He has brought his wide-ranging marketing experience to the BID to capture and highlight the happenings and vibrancy that exists in the Downtown district. Any events or activities that occur, James is part of the planning, development, and promotion.
Originally from Saratoga Springs, NY, James received his Bachelor’s Degree from Alfred University; he then arrived to Boston in 2018 where he attended Suffolk University for his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
